Why I Decided To Go With HubSpot
I've worked at numerous SaaS brands and Fortune 500 brands using several different platforms; SaleForce, Marketo, Pardot, SalesForce Marketing Cloud, MailChimp, ActiveCampaign, and MailerLite, to just name a few.
But when I was deliberating between not only what services I wanted to offer at my marketing agency but also what I wanted to use personally, it was kinda a no-brainer for me in choosing HubSpot as both my CRM and marketing automation platform.
Three Reasons Why I Choose HubSpot
The top 3 biggest differences between HubSpot and other CRM and marketing automation platforms are:
All-In-One Platform
HubSpot offers a comprehensive suite of tools that integrate seamlessly, including CRM, marketing, sales, service, and content management. This unified approach provides a single source of truth for customer data and interactions, allowing for better alignment across teams and more consistent customer experiences.
While there are a few other platforms out there touting this same benefit, the reality is HubSpot is a mature brand that has evolved into the complete solution over time versus throwing something together overnight without much thought. The fact remains that those platforms are clunky at best and don't have the same level of thought put into them and it shows when you start to use them.
User-Friendly Interface
HubSpot is known for its intuitive, user-friendly interface and shallow learning curve. The platform is designed to be easily customizable without requiring extensive technical knowledge or developer resources, making it particularly appealing to small and medium-sized businesses.
Although it has become more complicated over the years and things got a bit messy last year when they did a UX update and you had to figure out where things were, once you understand the navigation a lot of things each department needs to do their job can be within a few clicks.
Inbound Marketing Focus
HubSpot's platform is built around the inbound marketing methodology, which sets it apart from many competitors. This approach emphasizes creating valuable content and experiences tailored to attract and engage customers, aligning well with brands focused on content creation and organic growth strategies. The brand being SaaS itself, a lot of the frameworks and processes are built for those needs in particular.
It's because of these top three differences that I recommend any client I am working with to use HubSpot as well as using it myself for my marketing agency.
