The Typical Retargeting Scenario

How do you normally set up your advertising retargeting? Someone visits your website, maybe even visits the pricing page, and then you add them to a retargeting list that blasts them with the same handful of banners on Google Display 100x but wonder why they never click.

So what do you do next?

Typically, you add more channels... maybe you just aren't getting their attention, so you add Instagram and LinkedIn.

And while retargeting is typically less expensive than Search or other ad mediums on social media, the reality is, that sharing the same handful of banners over and over isn't very effective and you're most likely seeing low conversion rates.

If you want to put this on steroids, match the ads to the email nurtures you are sending out so if they aren't clicking the emails, you share the banners, and then if/when they click the email or banner or a delay of time passes, you move them to next touch in nurture series.
