Start Where You Are
When you first start the SaaS journey, I am not going to lie, it's going to be tough. The world is a noisy place and some platforms make a living by capturing people's attention.
The irony, when you first start, you end up using those same platforms to connect with potential buyers for your SaaS brand.
Great Spaces To Market Your Offer
The best places I recommend joining when you start are social media platforms, the groups you get access to once you join them, and finding local gatherings of the people you are targeting.

Social Media Platforms
Some of the best social platforms right now to jump on, depending on your comfortability with getting your name out there, are LinkedIn, Reddit, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
All these platforms offer you the ability to create a free page and connect with the millions of users who use them every day.
If you are looking for best practices for setting up social media platforms, we made a guide you can follow.

Physical Events & Communities
2020 rocked the world but most people are starting to get comfortable going to trade shows and conferences in person again.
You don't necessarily need to buy a booth or be a sponsor to get your name out in these spaces. Instead, show up, network, and pass out business cards or something else tangible that you can pass out.
When working with physical products, you don't need to go out and buy a whole supply closet of things to pass out. These days there are several on-demand printing services you can use, we use Printful.
Another great place to connect with people is jumping on the platform Meetup. You can either join one-time events or participate in a group where you meet with like-minded individuals regularly.
Lastly, depending on where you live, you can connect with people by networking at events hosted by local incubators or coworking spaces. These places are great for engaging with people like you who possibly need the software you offer.

Digital Advertising
The last place you can promote your SaaS offer is via digital advertising. Although this tactic isn't free, if you have a good idea of the type of person you want to connect with and the industry they work in, you can run some ads that allow you to connect with prospects but not spend a lot of money.
We'll discuss one successful digital advertising strategy in the next chapter of this guide, Start Engaging With Potential Buyers.
Concluding Thoughts
When it comes to launching your MVP, there is no quick attention and ways to close deals magically. Launching is all about the grind and the ability to be comfortable enough to get out in the world and tell them you have something that could solve one of their problems. They won't know you exist unless you tell them.
