Connect & Engage With Early Adopters

The MVP, or Minimum Viable Product, means your website will go live with the smallest amount of content that's necessary to begin earning leads.

When you are first starting your Saas journey and launching your MVP to test the market, there is no reason to build out a full-blown website to promote your offering.

Considering the MVP Platform you are promoting is limited in scope to see if there is an interest in the market, the website should be the same.

At Contineofy, we recommend those in the early stages of the SaaS Journey to work with a company called Webflow, the best part is that it's free to get started!

Getting Started With Webflow

Getting Started With Webflow

Webflow has a very detailed onboarding process that allows them to understand who you are, what you're trying to accomplish, and your expertise with code, likely being a developer, this should be easy.

Once on the platform, they have an excellent tutorial that walks you through the interface; it's a very intuitive WYSIWYG.

The onboarding will take you through the steps of adding elements, updating the CSS based on the current device that is being used (desktop, mobile, and tablet), as well as building CSS classes, simple stuff.

Once complete, you're ready to build out a simple 4-page website to promote your MVP.

Getting Started With Webflow Success

Let's Starting Building

When thinking of the design of your MVP website, the main idea here is to create something that shares the value of your product, allows you to collect early adopter leads, and doesn't take a lot of time to complete.

The end goal for the MVP website is to have a home page to catch people's attention and extend an offer page, an about page to share who you are, a contact us page for people to reach out to you, and product updates so that you can inform potential prospects and early adopters of the statuses of the project.

Designing Your Home Page

Designing Your Home Page

Your home page is the first impression of your brand. You must ensure you can capture interest within the first few seconds (thanks to TikTok and Instagram, goldfish attention spans).

To do this, let's first build your home page hero.

Sharing Your Top Offers & Claims

Your offerings and claims are what are going to make or break your idea. Your offers and claims need to share several points; when done correctly, it should be a no-brainer for the early adopter to decide to work with you. The important thing to remember here is not to over-promise and make sure whatever claims you make, you can complete.

Designing Your About Us Page

This page serves as a place to showcase your passion and why you want to start this SaaS company. The About Us page can showcase your experience and what led you to where you are today.

Everyone likes a good story, and these days, especially with Millennials and Gen Z, we all want to connect with people who are like us.

Designing Your Contact Us Page

Allowing people to quickly reach out to you for questions, possible partnerships, or maybe even a cofounder that gets inspired by your vision, all these are reasons to have a quick contact us form.

Designing Your Product Updates Page

It's important to overcommunicate with your early adopters so they understand not only where the platform is, but you can also use these updates to showcase your attention to detail and passion as well as that you're a person of your word and are developing what you said you would develop.

You'd be surprised by the number of people jumping on crowd-sourcing platforms these days promising something to the world and then disappearing.
