The Journey Of The Last 15 Years

I have been in the marketing field since 2010 after watching the movie "What Women Want" and telling myself I wanted to work in marketing.

The plot of the movie follows the character played by Mel Gibson who worked at a big advertising agency and could hear what women think so he was able to create genius marketing campaigns for brands like Nike.

I don't know what it was about this movie, if I am being transparent, I think it was mostly the idea growing up I always felt a bit of an outcast and just thought if I could just be able to understand people, then I could find my way and fit in.

Starting at the age of 16 as a telemarketer, would you like a free basement inspection, I managed to work up the different levels and choose to specialize in demand generation, content marketing, and marketing automation working with a variety of tools such as SalesForce, Qualified, Proof, SendGrid, Pardot, HubSpot, Google Adwords, Social Media, and Webflow.

I ended up attending Ashland University in 2005 and graduated with a degree in Business Administration with minors in Economics and Entrepreneurship.

Why I Love Digital Marketing

Over the years, I have been fascinated by all things marketing and technology. Even though my career started with telemarketing, trade show demonstrations, and graphic design; it quickly transitioned into website design, digital marketing, and content marketing in 2009.

The reason I love digital marketing is that it is always changing and for me, it's exciting to learn new technologies, understand how the market has changed, and what appeals as well as captures its attention.

Businesses, although they should stay true to their brand, values, and strengths, always have new ways of sharing their stories, values, and advice through different channels and I find it a continuous excitement to discover these new strategies and implement them into the companies I work with.

Having experience with both small businesses and startups as well as working for marketing agencies and Fortune 500 companies, I understand the benefits of creating processes and structure so that all members of the team can engage and collaborate and create a positive experience for customers.

Over the years and especially before starting Contineofy, I always found myself gravitating back to Series A-C SaaS startups, so it only made sense to make those organizations the focused industry we serve.

Moving Forward Together

I truly believe that if you want to go fast, go alone; but if you want to go far, go together. By working together and building off the strengths of everyone on the team, the sky truly is the limit.
