Contineofy Brand Guidelines

The Contineofy© brand guidelines are the source code of our brand. Using these brand guidelines as the starting point for all projects ensures that every engagment with Contineofy reflects our brand personality, brand strategy, and uses a consistent visual language. Through consistency we create an authentic relationship and credibility with our customers, partners, and contributors.

Contineofy Logo

The Contineofy logo plays off the meaning off the word contineo, which in Latin means con- ("together") + teneō ("I hold"). The logo showcases a magnet pulling all the letters together and holding them in place. As a SaaS owner, the hope is to bring people onto your platform and to keep them there, so the name is fitting.

Contineofy Color Palette

The core colors associated with our brand are: Dark Midnight, Dark Magenta, and White Smoke. We use the 60/30/10 design ratio where 60% is White Smoke, 30% is Dark Midnight Blue, and 10% is Dark Magenta. If you need to use websafe colors, they would be #FFFFFF, #000080, and #800080.

Visual Backgrounds

Contineofy backgrounds also rely heavily on black, white, and grays to allow other content to stand out. There are four shades of neutral gray between our versions of black and white, which provide flexibility for creating depth, shadows, and light and dark moods.

Contineofy Headlines: Montserrat

Contineofy Headlines is used in, well, headlines and titles to make big statements. Because Contineofy Headlines is intended for large sizes, it has more brand personality and voice, with even strokes, tight spacing, and tall, open letterforms. If you do not know which font to use, default to Contineofy Headlines.

Contineofy Text: Oxygen

Contineofy Text takes all of the personality from Contineofy Headlines and optimizes it for more demanding use cases. It is easy to read in paragraphs and very small sizes, like in a whitepaper. To make the Text font even easier to read, we set the line-height to 200% to allow adaquate spacing in paragraphs.

Key Principles Of Typography At Contineofy

Whether you're using type to simply convey information or are using it as an expressive design element, apply these principles to ensure that your typography looks and feels like Contineofy.

Use Title Case

Capitalize the first letter of every word in headlines unless it's a word like eCommerce or Iphone. Do not type in all caps as this implies that you are yelling or overly aggressive.

Use One Kind Of Emphasis

When differentiating words in context, either bold, italicize, or change text to an approved brand color, but only use 1 style at a time.

Allow For White Space

The empty space around the elements of any design is known as white space. Using white space effectively can highlight messagaging and help communicate some of the key attributes of our brand personality.

Our brand personality encompasses the unique way we communicate with both potential and current customers. Our personality is expressed through various elements, including the tone of our voice, core values, beliefs, and visual identity. However, it goes beyond mere aesthetics or sounds; and fundamentally shapes how we hope our customers feel during their interactions with our brand. We express ourselves primarily through The Explorer but compliment that with The Sage and Ruler.
